The betting odds say the Mitsubishi ZT shown here at the Tokyo Auto Show this week will be the next Mitsubishi Gallant. And with a high-PO 2.2-liter diesel and some new looks, we're guessing Mitsubishi can't be thinking their doing too much wrong with this here concept-cum-prototype.

Mitsubishi Lancer X Car

After the presentation at the Auto Salon in Detroit of the Prototype X Concept, which was predicting the series production, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has revealed the Lancer Evolution Model For the American market, Mitsubishi has decided that the lancer model should be called "Gal ant Fortis"(which in Latin means powerful, bold, brave). This is part of the new Sedan auto class, with a higher level of safety, performance a comfort, all these being adopted at international level. These characteristics include an extremely rigid platform which is behaving very well in eventual accidents, a new 2 liter engine with aluminum cylinders that offers a higher power and a medium consumption of fuel, an exterior that combines sportiness with elegance and a lot of interior space, very well distributed.The developing of the concept for the new "Lancer Evolution X" has predicted the new trend in Sedan vehicles with integral traction, that have a very good handling and full safety at high speed. The new model comes with the Super All Wheel Control function that integrates systems for the control of traction, handling, a great management for the brake control on all 4 wheels, all these bringing the car attitude and very good stability on the roads.Another new technology of the people at Mitsubishi Motors is the extremely performant 2.0 liter engine, turbo, very light, with the system MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing and lift Electronic Control System), which has aluminium cylinders, all these characteristics being adapted to a manual gear box in six speeds which is essential for the resulted performance and fuel economy.The new Lancer Evolution will be available for sale in North America in the first quarter of 2008.

Mitsubishi RA Car

At Detroit Auto Show there were a lot of new car concepts revealed, some of them simply beautiful and others not so impressive but one car surely impressed everyone: Mitsubishi RA. This new Mitsubishi concept is a coupe diesel car with an ultra seductive design. That red color makes it look like it’s alive, the rims with a design like a spider web add more details to this car and everything seems to fit right. The car is equipped with one of the best diesel engines, 2.2L 16 V with four cylinders that could develop 240 HP and a maximum torque of 420 M. It’s not too powerful but i think you’ll drive really slow with a car like this one because everyone has to see it, and enjoy each moment when it passes near them. The engine is also really clean and follows the latest environment protection standards. It is said that this lovely car will replace Mitsubishi Eclipse in the future and if the stock car will look just like this one i bet everyone will try to buy a new one. Those Lamborghini doors are simply brilliant and if you’ll take a look inside the car’s interior you will be amazed by how luxurious it can be. The seats are covered with the finest leather and those wooden elements and a classic look to the car that you will love for sure.

Mitsubishi Triton TMR I have always like the design of Mitsubishi compact pickup truck. Mitsubishi Triton actually originated in Malaysia as Mitsubishi Storm. Triton always have this tough and powerful design that attracts a lot of truck buyers. The TMR Triton is a concept vehicle which closely represents a production reality.

This concept model will be using 3.2 liter common rail turbo diesel engine that provides an impressive 132kW @ 3,800rpm and torque to a phenomenal 450Nm @ 2,000rmp. This is an increase from the current model. Fitted with Kori 8240 series shock absorbers at the front and back to provide the comfort needed for your weekend out of the town.
